The election was conducted at the Vajpayee Bhawan in Guwahati, with senior leaders including BJP national general secretary Sunil Bansal, Union Minister and election observer Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and northeast zonal in-charge Sambit Patra overseeing the process.
