Assam: Massive fire guts property worth Rs 20 lakh in Jagun

As the country drench in Lord Ram's 'Pran Pratishtha' celebrations, a major fire in Jagun, Assam gutted an entire house destroying property worth lakhs.
The incident took place on January 22 amid Ram Temple consecration celebrations when a major fire broke out at the rented accomodation of one Dinesh Mahato consisting of 6 rooms.
Eventhough the fire tender was called, the fire brigade failed to reach on time, thus angering the people nearby.
No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident, though the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
A probe has been initiated to ascertain the reason behind the fire incident.
