Assam: Tension erupts after brutal murder of 2 fishermen along Karbi Anglong-Hojai border

In a shocking incident, two fishermen from Tokoubari along Hojai and Karbi Anglong border in Assam met a brutal end after they were murdered by unidentified miscreant on Tuesday, August 13.

 

The incident occurred in the Bokliaghat area, where two local residents, Neel Bordoloi and Vibhishan Bordoloi, met a gruesome end at the hands of unidentified assailants.

The victims, who had gone out early in the morning to fish, were reportedly strangled to death, leaving the community in a state of shock and fear.

 

The murder of the two men has sparked outrage among the locals, with rising tensions permeating the area. 

 

The villagers, angered by the brutal nature of the crime, have taken to the streets, demanding swift and severe punishment for those responsible. The atmosphere in Tokoubari remains tense as protests continue, with locals urging authorities to take immediate action and bring the perpetrators to justice.
