A massive protest erupted in Karimganj today, August 11 as members of the Hindu Suraksha Bahini organized a large-scale rally to voice their outrage against the ongoing attacks on minorities in Bangladesh.
The rally, part of a broader "Bangladesh Chalo" campaign, began at Karimganj College and saw the participation of around a thousand demonstrators.

Carrying placards and banners, the protesters marched through the streets, condemning the violence faced by minorities in the neighboring country. However, the rally faced a significant roadblock at the Santar Bazaar point, where the police had set up barricades to prevent the march from continuing. The situation caused a temporary suspension of traffic on the national highway, leading to a brief period of disruption for vehicles traveling in the area.
Law enforcement officials swiftly intervened to manage the situation, eventually persuading the demonstrators to disperse peacefully. The police were able to regain control and ensured that the protest concluded without further incident.
