In a horrific incident, two boats collided head-on with scores of passengers on board on February 27 in Assam’s South Salmara area.
The incident took place when a mechanized boat with scores of passengers on-board hit another ferry that was coming to South Salmara from Hajirhat in Dhubri.
The horrific boat collision took place right in the middle of the Brahmaputra river. Somehow a major incident was averted as no casualties have been reported.
Two passengers slipped into the river but were pulled up by the people on board the ferry.
The entire incident was caught live on camera, when the boats collided.
