Downplaying Congress's claims of their rise in the recent concluded by-elections, Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika on September 9 said that there has been no rise of Congress in the country. In fact, few of the seats in the Congress' coalition INDIA have come to BJP, alleged minister Pijush Hazarika.
Speaking to reporters, Pijush Hazarika said, "If the current situation continues, the BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come back to power after winning 300 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Undoubtedly, the BJP will win 11 seats in the Lok Sabha elections in Assam"
"Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. Only formalities remain", added minister Hazarika.

Reacting to Congress's yatra across tea gardens, the minister said, "Congress' bagan yatra has not been successful. The Congress leadership is eating picnics in gardens with only one hundred and a half hundred people. The minister said that nothing will be gained from the Congress' bagan yatra".
"The BJP will contest all the 12 Lok Sabha seats in Assam. Minister Pijush Hazarika said that victory in 11 seats is certain" claimed Pijush Hazarika.
