Mizoram: Massive fire destroys school in Serchhip District

On January 21, between 7 and 8 p.m., a devastating fire engulfed a school in Lungchhuan Village, Serchhip District, Mizoram. 

The school, operated by Lungchhuan Presbyterian Church, was completely destroyed, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.

Reports suggest that the fire incident occurred during a church service. The school building, relatively new, had been in use for only five years.

Lungchhuan Village is situated in the East Lungdar sub-division of Serchhip district.
