In a major boost to Tripura’s tourism sector, the state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (IHCL), a part of the Tata Group, to establish a 100-room heritage-style hotel.
Terming it a "milestone for Tripura," Chief Minister Manik Saha said, “Talks were ongoing for a long time, and today it has been finalized. This hotel will not only offer world-class hospitality but also promote Tripura’s rich culture and heritage.”
The project aims to position Tripura as a key tourist destination while highlighting its cultural heritage on a national and global scale.
