TWO DIE IN ROAD ACCIDENT IN MORIGAON DISTRICT OF ASSAM

Guwahati, November 1, 2018:

Two persons were killed in a tragic road accident at Nelie in Morigaon district of Assam. The accident took place in the wee hours of Thursday.

A Swift Dzire vehicle, bearing registration number AS-01DS-5290, hit one Sujit Chand and fell into a roadside ditch.

Both Sujit Chand and the driver of the vehicle Birendra Sarma died on the spot.

It may be mentioned that a total of 2572 people have died in as many as 7435 road accidents in Assam in 2016 alone.
