Arunachal: Clash between minor hostel girl students led to death of 12-year-old in Doimukh

In an unfortunate incident in Doimukh, Arunachal, a Class 6 student lost his life allegedly following a dispute among friends in a hostel premises of a private school. 

The deceased is 12 years old.

Police asserted that as per the allegation, two of the friends of the deceased are currently being detained by the Juvenile Justice Board.

The incident happened at a girl's hostel on the school premises yesterday night at around 10 pm according to the SP.

Speaking on the action taken by the school authorities, the police said that the school principal and the warden have been detained and currently questioning the incident if there are any lapses from the school.

Speaking to the media, the police said, "As per the initial report we started the investigation based on the FIR filed by the parents of the deceased and after the post-morterm we handed over the body."

The exact cause of the death is yet to be determined. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

The lifeless body of the young girl and a student of class 6, was discovered under mysterious circumstances within the school premises.

Initial reports suggest that the young girl's death is believed to be the result of foul play. The exact circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear. 

According to SP Papumpare, two alleged accused have been identified as minors and have been detained. The matter is set to be taken to the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) for further proceedings.
