Assam: Massive fire breaks out at Guwahati railway station, no injuries reported

A massive fire broke out at one of the empty coaches stationed at Guwahati railway station on Tuesday, December 26 morning.

As per preliminary reports, the fire broke out in one of the empty coaches following which fire tenders reached the spot to douse the blaze. 

Panic gripped the station as shocked passengers quickly moved out of the platform as soon as the fire spread. 

From the visuals released, the fire was caught in one of the AC Hot Buffet Car coach. 

No injuries were reported at the time of filing the report.
