Akhil Gogoi is reportedly planning a political assault on two Gogois (Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and AJP leader Lurinjyoti Gogoi, according to Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah.

The minister claimed that Gogoi's strategy is to appear as a shakuni, a famous character in the Mahabharata who is known for his manipulative actions.

Mallabaruah further claimed that Gogoi's intent is to undermine the political standing of the two Gogois.

He also accused Gogoi of claiming that the Congress party lacks organisation, hinting that Gaurav Gogoi is likely to lose in the elections.

He also suggested that Gogoi's victory in the previous election was due to his incarceration, and had he contested without being in jail, he would have lost.

Mallabaruah also claimed that Gogoi to be a stroke of bad luck, for whom he campaigns, is likely to lose the election.

On the topic of the upcoming elections, Mallabaruah expressed confidence in the BJP's standing, citing the massive public turnout during the nomination filing.

He also criticised the state Congress president, Bhupen Borah, for his comments during a press conference, citing why he should join the BJP.

Mallabaruah claimed that Borah's responses indicated his struggle to join the BJP.

The Minister also stated that the people of Assam do not accept dynastic politics, and accused the Congress of losing its connection with the ethnicities of Assam due to its promotion of dynasty politics.
