TRIPURA: A day after the historic win in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections with an absolute majority, Tripura’s Royal scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma shared his campaign opener emotional speech video on social media.
"The speech which started it all," tweeted Pradyot Manikya on his video.
In the released one-and-a-half-minute-long video, Manikya could be heard very emotionally urging his people to stay united.
"In 2026, delimitation will take place, and here our Borok community, which once was 90 per cent, then reduced to 80 per cent, 70 per cent, 50 per cent and now stands at 30 per cent, after five to 10 years, we will be extinct," says Manikya in the video.
Manikya gets emotional as he proceeded further in his speech. "Today Bubagra is not fighting for himself but for you. If I had to fight for myself then I'd have been sitting in New Delhi being MP or minister."
