Leader of opposition, Debabrata Saikia on Saturday wrote to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to intimidate on allegation raised over submission of blank OMR sheets by some candidates who had appeared for the examination of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET).
In his letter to the Chief Minister, Debabrata Saikia quoted, “It has been reported by many invigilators that some students appearing for the TET examination have submitted blank OMR Sheets.”
Saikia further informed that it was also known that despite the invigilators asking the candidates not to submit blank OMR Sheets, few candidates did not heed the instructions. "However, they did write their roll numbers in the OMR sheet,” Saikia added.
The Congress leader demanded Sarbananda Sonowal that not a single candidate who submitted a blank OMR sheet gets qualified. Saikia also demanded an investigation into the submission blank OMR sheets in the examination.

It is to be mentioned here that the question papers of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) were reportedly leaked and got circulated in social media giant Facebook’s messaging application “WhatsApp” minutes after the examination began.
It was also alleged that days ahead of the question papers were even sold to TET aspirants at a certain amount by some people.
